Our background to the tours
The trigger for our participation was an invitation from Fibershed Netherlands to join this national week. We then delved further into the initiative and decided; this suits us and our mission. There were 2 x 25 places available for the two tours, which were fully utilised. We saw many happy faces and received many positive reactions.

During the tours, we took visitors through our production process – from raw material to finished product. We told about our contribution to circular textile production and the role we play in optimising R-strategies within different sectors. Topics such as circulariy, what Spinning Jenny does with it’s production losses came to speech. It was great to see how much interest and questions people had about them.

Knowledge sharing around a circular textile industry
We noticed that a lot is still unclear among a large audience. There is still enough need for knowledge sharing around the possibilities of a circular textile industry. We therefore think it is important to give people an insight into what is possible and inspire them to do their own bit for a circular and more sustainable industry.

We have had a very positive experience of the tours and enjoy getting so many positive feedback. We hope to inspire even more people with our work in the future.
